Mindy Greenstein, PhD is a New York-based psycho-oncologist, writer and best-selling author. She is also a cancer survivor, having been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006. Dr. Greenstein frequently writes for the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Psychology Today, SELF Magazine as well as CancerForward.org. Her popular new book “The House on Crash Corner” was released nationally in April, 2011. The following month it was featured as a “title to pick up” in O, The Oprah Magazine.
The Mind, Body & Spirit Forum is a series of inspirational education events provided as a free community service to cancer survivors, their families, friends and caregivers by CancerForward: The Foundation For Cancer Survivors. 2011 Catwalk for a Cure: The Amschwand Sarcoma Cancer Foundation is pleased to partner again with Saks Fifth Avenue to present the Catwalk for a Cure 2011 Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the fabulous Hotel ZaZa. This year’s luncheon benefitting the Amschwand Sarcoma Cancer Foundation will feature a fashion event showcasing the designs of celebrity designer Naeem Khan. Mr. Khan’s elegant designs have been worn by dignitaries such as First Lady Michelle Obama and Queen Noor of Jordan, as well as some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Beyonce, Eva Longoria, Penelope Cruz, and Taylor Swift to name a few.

Amschwand Sarcoma Cancer Foundation's TEAM SARCOMA 2010 was again another huge success. The 2010 walk took place at the Galleria Houston on Saturday, July 24th. The walk was held in memory of Ben Ling in an effort to increase awareness for the disease. The 2010 effort was a coordinated partnership between ASCF and MD Anderson Cancer Center's researchers, nurses and support staff. More than one hundred attended in the local event donning Two by Two t-shirts and spreading awareness of sarcoma. More than 25,000 participated in the internationally coordinated effort.
